Join us for a slow, seasonal gathering where blooms, moss, and mindful making come together. In this hands-on workshop, Jess will guide you through creating a hellebore kokedama—an old-world, moss-wrapped planting that celebrates winter’s quiet beauty. Jess will also teach you how to make a simple twine plant holder, perfect for hanging your kokedama at home, inside or out, and enjoying it from a new perspective. Hellebores, with their nodding blooms and evergreen character, are a favorite for the colder months and a reminder that beauty still blooms in the stillness. Once your blooms have faded, you can plant your entire kokedama directly into the ground, as hellebore is a hardy perennial that will return as one of the first blooms to appear year after year. Leave with your finished kokedama in a handmade hanger, and a deeper appreciation for slow design, natural materials, and good wine (your first glass is free with registration!) Additionally, as part of your registration, you will also receive a copy of Jess's book, Seasonal Living with Herbs! This is sure to become your new favorite winter craft.
