Spearmint Eucalyptus Goat Milk Bath Soak
This is one of my favorite self-care recipes and can be made in just minutes. I incorporate eucalyptus oil for its beneficial properties, including soothing dry irritated skin, protecting against infection, and rejuvenating sore muscles. I chose spearmint oil both to aid in reducing fever, fatigue, inflammation, and nasal congestion. Goat milk bath was chosen to moisturize and nourish skin.
Ingredients You Will Need
1 cup (240 ml) dehydrated goat milk (available at organic groceries or specialty markets)
¼ cup (57 g) baking soda
¼ cup (57 g) cornstarch
10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
10 drops spearmint essential oil
pink Himalayan rock salt to finish
To Make
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the first three ingredients until evenly combined.
- Whisk the essential oils into the mixture to combine.
- Funnel the mixture into a clean, dry glass jar and top with one tablespoon (15 ml) of pink Himalayan rock salt.
Precautionary note: Use caution when using this product, as essential oils can make certain bathtub surfaces slippery.
If you wish to gift these, I've included my label design for immediate download. CLICK HERE. I used a 2" circle punch, punched a hole to thread the ribbon through, and tied a small wooden spoon to each jar with the ribbon.
